Meet Kenya Morris
Kenya Morris, a graduating senior from sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is an exceptional young woman with a bright future ahead. In the fall of 2023, she began her journey at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, bringing with her a decade of academic excellence and school leadership. Kenya's peers and mentors often describe her as optimistic, resilient, and driven—qualities that have guided her through an impressive high school career.
A proud graduate of the Performing Arts Dance Program at Dillard High School, Kenya maintained an outstanding 4.1 GPA, consistently making the A/B honor roll and ranking in the top 12% of her class. Her commitment to academic and extracurricular excellence is evident in her numerous achievements, including serving as President of the National Honor Society, Financial Secretary of the Student Government Association, and Captain of the Fabulous Flags for over two years. Kenya’s dedication extends beyond academics, as she has also earned over 300 hours of community service, reflecting her deep commitment to giving back and supporting her community.
Kenya exemplifies the tenacity and ambition celebrated by the Creative Arts Unity Foundation’s scholarship program.
